Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend this product. The first ball we got, the thumb was broken. So Moosejaw did a great job with returns and sending a new one out. Well unfortunately, we were able to use the ball 3 days, and the thumb hole snapped. I guess the last person who got the first ball broke it, returned it and didn't say anything. Anyhoo, the ball is great, but the finger exercise portion of it is total crap. I think if the product stood up to prolong use, not abuse now, it would be a great thing to have. It was helping out my husband's hand and wrist issues, but unfortunately the thumb just snapped and broke with little use, and no abuse was done to this product. I know our fingers were not strong enough to stretch it to i

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hand warm-up/strengthening tool and great for old people with arthritic elbows The only hand strengthening tool that I know of that balances the muscles in the hand by working the extensors and flexors and all that good stuff too, rather than just working your grip. Also, as opposed to the relatively linear motion of grip strengtheners like the gripmaster, the ball tends to work stabilizer muscles in the fingers much better. My parents stole mine because it is the only thing that uncripples their arthritic elbows so i'm getting them each one for christmas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mmm... gripsaver. This is one amazing product. After only a week of use I can now crush walnuts like The Godfather and scare my enemies by making them think I am holding a thermal detonator. You should have seen that Jabba's face! What a loser. It's just an old Jedi mind trick, but hey. I also let a teething baby chew on my grip saver, and it STILL works great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Train in traffic! I don't know what all the fuss is - I haven't broken the straps at least not yet. But it works like you'd think it would... the straps are rubber molded so yeah I could see maybe after some abuse they could break but it definitely helps streghten your fingers and grip so even if you have to replace it eventually, it's the price you pay!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Oww, my fingers. This little muscle toy is fabulous. Though people might stare at you strangely on the bus, train, plane, it's an awesome tool to help strengthen those hard-to-work climbing muscles when you're not on the rock. So far it's really helped my tendonitis and finger strength, and I don't see signs of the rubber thread losing elasticity.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good concept, not my favorite hand strengthener I've been using this for a few weeks, I don't feel like it is as much as Power Putty. Just my $0.02. I will continue to use it though, since I don't like sitting at my desk at work with the putty, since the color exchanges a little on my hand and it looks like I'm playing with Play Dough or Silly Putty.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not perfectly suited for climbing, but difficult and fun I bought this to strengthen my grip for climbing, but the right muscles arnt really worked. It definately helps for some unique climbing moves, but not ideal for a more general targeted workout. It does give good forearm definition, though, because it targets parts of the arm that nothing else does

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY you're better off investing in...well ANYTHING else. this thing fell apart before i even really got to use it. and i'm too busy to send it back to moosejaw, and i don't really want another one. ALL of the finger holes broke off. i don't even know why moosejaw continues to carry this product.
