I love these pants! They have almost a soft canvas feel to them so they are so super roughed/water proof and last forever! I am so hard on these pants too. I live on a farm and they go through all types of weather. Mud, snow, rain and barbed wire! THey've seen it and I still look cute!! I'm ordering another pair and love all Marmot products now
These pants will be GREAT for outdoor adventures with my huskies. I am 5.7" and 125lbs and ordered a small. The small fits a little snugger than I prefer in snow pants (I wear my pants on my hips not my natural waist), I am exchanging them for medium. The fabric is durable, zippers are strong, and there is a hidden interior velcro system on the inside waist to tighten them up if they are a little big, also,the electric blue and lime are very vibrant. I can't wait to get my exchange!
I recently purchased the pants for my girlfriend for her birthday, and she loves them! She is an outdoor enthusiast, and is a fan of skiing in the mountains of Alaska. She kicks ass at skiing, so if she likes the pants, then they are definitely worth the money. Her only complaint was that they were a little big in the waist compared to the length in the legs.

Great pants, but the sizing is off so I have to send them back (particularly big in the waist). I'd estimate their medium is equivalent to a size 10 with room for a base layer underneath. Took my measurements, should have subtracted about 2" for the Marmot sizing chart to work in real life. The pants are really comfortable, and already insulated, so you won't need anything heavy underneath, even in cold weather. It's cold in my house, but I was warm after about 30 seconds in these pants. I will think of them wistfully when I'm freezing on a chairlift somewhere wearing smaller-sized, yet inferior gear.
These pants are perfect for some bitterly cold weather. They are totally waterproof, warm, and have super soft lining. I'd wear them as PJ's if that wasn't crazy.
