DWR tech

Durable Water Repellant
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. It's cute to think of a fabric as being afraid of water. Now if only they could make a bearphobic coating. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Marmot DriClime

Marmot DriClime
Marmot DriClime is a mesh composed of two different denier yarns which work together to maximize breathability, prevent condensation and wick moisture. This means you can be as active as you want in the outdoors and remain dry and comfortable. Do you ever think, "I wish I were all wet and gross"? I didn't think so. Dry and comfortable all the way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants with some minor flaws It's hard in general to find a fashionable, but functional pair of hiking pants. These pants fit slim, but not so much that they obstruct movement. Only thing I don't love is that the material around the crotch doesn't fit great. It's hard to explain, but it seems to be because I have larger thighs and a behind so the legs fit a little tighter than they should. I've tried pulling them up to see if it fixes it, but it doesn't. Also they run small. I ordered a size 4 which fit perfectly and I'm normally a size 0 or 25. Overall, the flaws are so minor compared to everything else that I'm willing to look past them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hiking pants that I have! These pants fit great and feel great! They seemed kind of long on me at first, but once I put on my hiking boots, they were the perfect length. They have great, accessible pockets, including one that is zipped on the right leg. I prefer wearing hiking pants for protection when backpacking and these did the job. I took them on a weekend backpacking trip and would have worn them everyday if I hadn't accidentally peed in them (not the pant's fault). Definitely glad to wash them once I got home and will be my go-to on the next trip!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfortable weight Bought one pair and have yet to wear them, yet recently bought another pair in the graphite that I wore with a pair of wick away leggings. The temperature was in the forty's and I was very please with the weight and comfort. They will give as you wear them and the waistline is comfortably lower. The tabs allow you to roll up the pant legs and will prove useful in warmer weather or crossing a creek. I wash them on gentle cycle or hand wash, low heat gentle cycle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizing not for me I tried my regular size first, size 6, which is my true fit. I am 5'5, 135 lbs. They were too tight, so I returned and tried the size 8. Size 8 was too big. I really wanted these to work. The material has by far been the most lightweight and most comfortable feel. So sad to have to return both. The sizing just wasn't compatible with my frame. If the Marmot brand fits you, these will probably be your most favorite pair of pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally Livable I bought these and loved them so much I wore them every day, so my husband ordered the two other colors. I like the charcoal the best. It's hard not to sleep in these, they're so comfortable I don't want to take them off at the end of the day. Absolutely no shrinkage on washing. I drip dry and they dry super fast. I love the roll-up cuff buttons. Great fit - I'm a size 10 and these are right-sized.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hiking/General Pants I bought these for a trip to central Florida & have been very pleased with these Lobo pants. Comfort is extraordinary(stretchy fabric). Easy to machine wash. I hung mine to dry. Very quick drying. Fun to roll up pant legs & wear as capris. I usually wear a size 6 & these were a perfect fit(sizing is accurate). Their light weight fabric feels great & was perfect for temps in 80's.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Pant- Not so great on colors I love these pants and went to buy more than one pair.  The gray pair was great but the khaki pair was a rather dull army looking color.  The next pair was suppose to be a dark gray; almost looked black in the catalog.  But it was so similar to the other gray that I returned it.  Let's get some elegant colors for these great pants.  Sign me up for a black pair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THESE PANTS!! I have these in the regular Lobos and the convertible Lobos. I love them both and wear them often. I am 5'5" 125 lbs, 29" waist and a mountain biker's legs and behind. I normally wear a size 6 in pants and jeans and I wear a size 6 in the Lobos. The legs on these are fitted, but stretch and feel great. They are not baggy like old style hiking pants, so it took me one wear to get used to that. No swishing when I hike and they wick VERY well. No chaffing and I love being able to roll up the legs. I have washed the heck out of them and they hold up very well. I have scrambled over rocks and they have held up better than I expected the thinner material to, but I haven't fallen or slid down a boulder in them yet. Best of all the waist isn't too low or too high. It feels like a mid-rise to me, which means no rubbing of my pack on my lower back/upper behind and no uncomfortable high waist cutting into my abdomen. Very comfortable.
