I'm not sure if you knew this, but science has proven that the most comfortable place to sleep is in the middle of a gaggle of geese. Their naturally warm bodies insulate perfectly as they perch and walk all over you. But since you can't always have tons of geese around you, Marmot came out with the Sawtooth Sleeping Bag to keep you toasty no matter where your adventures take you. Stuffed with 650-fill goose down, this is a solid all-around bag for all-season warmth and comfort. Draft tube, draw cord hood and heater pocket in the foot box are all features that a gaggle of geese can't offer. Updated for this season with improvements to the shape, baffle height and liner fabric for increased comfort.

Great buy, glad I splurgedI got the long, extra wide, not because I am oversized, but because I wanted a little more room with the benefits of a mummy bag. I loved it. I could move my legs easily and did not feel cramped. (I move a lot in my sleep, and this allowed ample movement). When I slipped in this 15 degree bag I had doubts it would keep me warm through the cold spring night, it just seemed to be lacking fill, but I'll tell ya, I had the zipper open all night. I was toasty warm and then some.....and not cuz of the beans I had for supper. This bag worked great and look forward to taking it to Yosemite's High Sierra region next month.

Warm sleeping bag for the priceWow this thing is warm. Much warmer than I expected. I frequently use this for cold weather camping down to -5F and I have never been cold sleeping. Its rated to 15F, but it feels much warmer than that. The compressibility is OK and is what you would expect from 600fill down. The thing is, as expected, a little too warm and unweildy for summer camping and backpacking. Overall, I think this is a good affordable alternative for a winter sleeping bag (which can run 2-3X the price of the sawtooth).,,,,I am 6ft tall, 182lbs and bought a regular. It fits, but there is little room to store my clothes or boots in the bottom of the bag. I would go with the long if you will be doing some cold weather camping and like to have nice warm boots that you can store in the bottom by your feet.

A solid value for the quality.I purchased this bag for my father (Marmot Teton for my mother...the bags nicely zip together) for a two week tent camping trip this past fall in Alberta, CAN. Nights were 20-50F. He wasn't cold at all. Zipper snagged once (but easy backing out), good water resistant DWR coating, soft fabric (Teton was softer). The bag compressed down better than the Teton (both 650 bags and both compressed better than expected), but it didn't have as many oz of down fill either which worried me at first, but my father was never cold. Bonus: storage pocket in the foot box to put a break and shake hand warmer. Key for the warmth is get to the site, remove from stuff sack, shake bag thoroughly to disperse the down, and give it time to regain loft (while cooking dinner maybe?). 20 min before bed, throw a hand warmer into the footbox (not necessary, just a extra dad liked) and when you crawl in it is toasty. Material was thin but durable, loved the different blue colors, no down leaking. Would buy again
