The Marmot Men's PreCip Pant waterproof pant for hiking through rainy trails. The PreCip uses NanoPro technology, a waterproof/breathable coating to keep the rain off your legs while still remaining comfortable. None of that garbage bag feeling on the inside. Side zips at the ankles make quick work of pulling them on in a sudden downpour. The zippered hand pockets and one zippered back pocket provide easy access to your pocket knife or a light snack without having to dig into your hike pants underneath. The elastic waist is comfortable and a draw cord ensures they won't fall off midway down the trail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great. These work great, cheaper than the full zip version, but I liked these better. No problem putting these on over my size 12 hiking boots. This version has the drawstring top which is nice, the full length does not. Kept me dry while wearing on a 10 hour day in heavy rain and 60+ mph winds, can't speak for breathability as the temp was only in the 50s so I definitely wasn't hot. I'm 6' 225 and the XL fit well around the waist, but were way to long. Changed to the xl short version....much better without dragging the bottoms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Performance I wore a pair of Precips on a hike over the Chilkoot Trail August 8-12. On the 10th we hiked with wind-driven rain at our backs from Sheep Camp, over the pass to Happy Camp, about seven hours. My legs stayed warm and dry, although the inside fabric became a little clammy around the calves several hours into the day. I would recommend them based on this trip, but without knowing how durable they will be over time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great features, great price first of all: Marmot delivered the right product, and quickly as promised. In order to know if the pants are really waterproof, I have to wait for the raining season (in Israel). But: I have another pair of waterproof pants from the same manufacturer for years, and is perfect. That is the reason that I bought that one too. It looks also elegant for that kind of stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome pants Super light and completely waterproof. Very breathable as well. I'm 6'1" with fairly long legs and the large pants are a little long but I just roll the waistband once. I don't anticipate any problems with boots on though. Awesome pants and I would definitely purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Picked this up for my upcoming AT hike. Tried out a couple other pants that were either too bulky or didn't quite fit right at the store (imagining the fit after 1,000 miles). I've tested them out in the rain while doing stuff and so far, so good...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! I bought a pair of pants in Marmot (retail store Falabella) and i traveled to south of Chile, it rains a lot, all day. I kept dry. You must use other pants under Precipt Pant, because it's only for rain, no thermal pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific Rain Pants This purchase was to replace the identical pair I accidentally left in a truck while visiting Tikal, the Mayan ruins in Guatemla. Light weight and cool, shedding rain, even in the heat of Central America!
