These snowshoes are great for wide flat trails but even better on steep terrain. They have great crampons that give you amazing grip and a perfect hinge for heel lift. When you are blasting up the side of a mountain you can engage the heel assist that engages with the flick of your hiking pole and allows you to climb without experiencing calf muscle fatigue. Just flick the heel assist down when you get to the top and keep on truckin'. Get these!
These shoes are my wife's christmas present. WOW. They'll climb a telephone pole! Bindings are really easy to use and seam to stay nice and secure. The fit and finish are perfect. Can't wait to put them to use.
