"Light & Protective" 12/14/12

I bought this tarp because I wanted something to use in conjunction with my bivy sack, in case of rain or snow. I love how much protection it gives me without taking up space in my pack or adding too much weight. Since I already always carry my trekking poles at all times, it only makes sense that I would want to put them to use after a long day of hiking. This system works just perfectly!

"Lightweight with plenty of room" 03/27/12

After hiking through Alaska in bad weather and without the possibility to cook and in the protection of a tent (because of bears) we decided to add this shelter for our upcoming hike on the West Coast Trail, BC. It is indeed very lightweight yet stable, very versatile and easy to put up almost everywhere. It's big enough for two persons plus backpacks - you really don't need more.
