These glasses are as advertised and an amazing bang for your buck. Tinted in such a way to block glare and keep your eyes relaxed but still give you maximum visibility. The only downside (and you are getting what you pay for here) is the way they handle peripheral sunlight. The flaps on side do a great job of this but also make you feel a bit like a horse with blinders on. On the mountain a bit more peripheral vision is a good thing, and so you're somewhat limited. That being said its not a huge draw back and I can't find anything to beat it at this price!
This is my other favorite pair of glacier glasses. (a close tie with my Julbo micropore old-school round style). These have the common Julbo attributes of super glear lenses and quality materials for real climbing use, are lighter, have a more modern look, and the lenses are HUGE so you have better peripheral vision. You look a bit like a preying mantis with giant bug eyes, but you can see all around you, and find that hold you might otherwise miss. Pretty worthwhile. Note: these are DARK DARK DARK like all real glacier glasses. Too dark for driving. If you have very long lashes, you will find yourself occasionally smearing the lenses with them, but that's true of all wrap-around sunglasses.
