The Jetboil Flash Personal Cooking System adds more enjoyment to your favorite outdoor adventure. Like all of Jetboil's innovative systems, Flash is an all-in-one design, combining burner and cooking vessel in one compact unit. Everything you need is stacked and stored inside the 1.0 liter cooking cup. The camping cooking system lights with the click of a button and within two minutes provides two cups of boiling water for cocoa, coffee, instant soup or a gourmet freeze-dried meal. The newly designed burner secures the igniter, protecting it from bumps along the road. The Flash is designed to be one of the safest cooking solutions out there. The cooking cup clips onto the burner, preventing accidental spills, and the fuel canister tripod ensures overall stability. The insulating cozy has a color-changing heat indicator that signals when contents are hot.

"Super Awesome" 04/30/13
This stove does exactly what it was designed to do. It boils water. Fast. It assembles quickly. It's very stable. You can even pick the whole thing up and move it while you're cooking something. It comes with an attachment so you can use standard pots with it as well (so far, I've had no reason to do so, but it's nice to have). If you're careful with it, you can even cook food that requires simmering (this takes a little more attention to avoid burning food to the bottom, but is totally doable). The piezo ignition is great for those times when your lighter decides to run out on you.
"Super compact and works great!" 04/21/13
Awesome stove! However, if you are actually cooking on it, it can be a bit finicky! To boil water and use it at full blast it works perfect. To simmer, not so much. You have to be very careful when turning it to low because it easily goes out. Other than that, this is a great stove. Easy to assemble and fits right into the container. We purchased the larger pot in addition to the cup and it works great as well.
"For the purpose of boiling water, not much gets better" 04/01/13
Simple design, everything packs into the main pot. The neoprene shell protects your hands really well. Assembly and lighting is a cinch. Boil times are fast, although the stove does not do much besides boil water, that's the only downside. Love having this stove for the simple part of waking up, boiling water, and having coffee in about 5 minutes after I get out of my bag! Love it
"Ehhhhhh...." 01/19/13
After a long day of climbing/hiking/backpacking/exploring/adventuring, I usually have a HUGE appetite. The JetBoil is great and convenient and a wonderful size to carry around with you, but it really sucks to make a cup of pasta 4 times just to become slightly full. The JetBoil is great for making coffee, heating up water, etc, but definitely not the greatest thing for making a big meal with...
"STOP BUYING POT STAND" 01/14/13
I kept reading that I needed to buy the pot stand so I added it to the cart for an extra $15.00. Turns out the Flash now comes standard with the pot holder. I knew the leg stands were in there but not the pot stand. I'll have an extra now but just a heads up...you don't need to buy it separate anymore. I'll go ahead and note the one negative thing about the Flash (blue) is that the neoprene gets super dirty, super fast! First weekend trip and its already covered in stains. Not a big problem for me (I like my gear to look used) but it does seem a little excessive. If you get the black one you probably won't have that problem.
"Fantastically space efficient and quick to boil" 12/07/12
If you want a cooking system that is: -compact -self-contained -efficient with fuel -boils fast This is it.All the parts fit inside the container (even a fuel cartridge), and it's pretty much indestructible. Also burns great in high wind conditions, and cold weather doesn't slow the fuel output that muchJust make sure you buy the size you want - 1liter is small, but it wont boil an entire liter of water at once.
"Boils water successfully" 11/30/12
Does not flash. Ever. Not intended as camera lighting device. Everything fits neatly as promised, and is all you will ever need for almost any expedition. Sturdy construction and will give you the pleasure of drinking a hot cup of coffee while mocking your mate who spends his morning fiddling about with the omega 3000 titanium edition complete stove in a box.
"Great and compact cooking system" 11/12/12
I waited a while to buy one of these, because I thought it was basically just something to boil water with. Then I realized I pretty much only boil water with my stove anyways. Also, since it comes with a pot adapter, you can use it with a regular pan! Works great and boils water in no time. I got this with a coffee press and it's pretty handy.
"Great product" 11/02/12
I have not used this system in wind yet but of course I had to test it out as soon as I got it. This is what I have so far the system packs great I love how the cup holds all the components. If I could ask for anything else it would be that it held a bit more water but then I guess it would have to be larger, but what they did do is jetboil included a stove top that attaches to the system so you could use a larger container. Nonetheless it brought water to a boil in just under 2 mins and I think this may be my favorite cook system yet.
"Top 5 Best Gifts EVER!" 09/10/12
My girlfriend surprised me with this cook system a year and a half ago as a birthday present (I know, she's a keeper). I should mention that at the time I was a happy owner of a MSR Pocket Rocket/GSI Soloist cooking system. In the time since that birthday, the Jetboil has been my go to system. I love how everything fits in the main compartment, I love the integrated piezoelectric ignitor, I LOVE the color-changing flame on the pot cover indicating that the water is near boiling! This system is well designed and built, simple to use and functional for all my camping needs. I can't remember life without it. Thank you, girlfriend!
