"Great IB quality but too short" 12/17/12

I really wanted to like this dress. It is beautifully made, the fabric is the usual silky IB wool, and it drapes well. The size fit my 5 foot 6 inch tall, 139 lb frame fine, with no excessively tight or loose-fitting areas. Sleeves are adequately proportioned and didn't seem too long. But the neck opening gapped when bending forward, and the hemline hit about 2 inches above the knee - too short for me. I'm kinda pear-shaped with narrow shoulders, not the best body type for a wrap dress.
