The Icebreaker Men's Tech T Lite SS is a hiking shirt for staying cool in the summer sun. The 150gm ultralight material is 100% merino wool, which uses its natural wicking abilities to regulate your temperature. Wear the same one day after day, it's odor resistant means no stink. The light weight also make it packable, so throw in an extra to your stuff sack just in case. Quick drying, so hang it overnight and you're good to go by morning. I hope it doesn't rain.

I suggest you measure your chest to get the right sizing for this shirt. It's merino wool, so all the smell resistance and benefits that go along with it. However, I've tried other brands that specialize in wool which offer shirts that are slightly softer, maintain they're shape better (hems at the end of the sleeve seem to want to deform) and just drape better. Just keep in mind that these concerns are minor. I would still buy another icebreaker shirt in a minute -- for the right price.
I now own 4 of these shirts. I am 5'11'' 195 lbs and 40in chest. Medium fits well and a large provides some extra comfortable room. If you sweat a lot this piece is essential. Never stinks and provides ultimate comfort. I have gone on multiple 10+ days trips and usually only pack two of these shirts. If it gets really gnarly then a few drops of Dr. Bronner's soap with a good hand-washing is all you need while traveling - lay out to dry and should be good to go in an hours time. Yes, the material is uber thin but rest assured it holds up well. Gentle wash cycles, lay out to dry, and it will last a long time. It is my go-to shirt. For traveling, commuting around town, hiking, and rock climbing. Though, for ultimate high-intensity workouts (1.5+ L/h) this shirt would not be my pick. Which is fine, it is not meant for that. It just simply gets to heavy with sweat.
