"Must buy." 12/15/11
NAMO AMITABHA. This is how I start loving Icebreaker's products. I was looking for other brands's base layer until I came across the ICEBREAKER. After reading many many positve reviews and decided to pull the trigger to give it a try. Now I am hook. The fabric is wool but very soft, smooth, light, breathable and warm. It change the way I used to think of wool that is "itchy and rough on skin". I know own a few of these in different weight such 150, 200 and 260. Good luck. NAMO AMITABHA.
"Great product, runs small" 11/16/11
I have a handful of Icebreaker tops and love them all so I decided to pick up a pair of bottoms as well. I find the Icebreaker generally runs a bit small, even when I size up they are fairly skin tight. Unfortunately, I thought I'd try my recommended size with these guys and they ended up tighter than I would prefer. On the plus side, the merino wool is very soft and has exceptional breathability. Bottom line: If you don't have skinny twig legs, or don't want your baselayer to fit like spandex, think about sizing up!
"seriously?" 11/13/11
i bought 2 of these, a medium and a large. hoping to return the one that didnt fit. the large fit great. but was to itchy. and the seems on the back come up the cheeks like granny pantys and chaff my ass when a squat or take big steps. i expected better for something this expensive
"Not the best quality" 07/07/11
They do what they are supposed to but the stitching in them isn't the best quality. I have a hole in mine that keeps getting bigger on the inside seam of the leg. They are warm though and are very comfortable. I probably wouldn't get these again though. I would look for something that is of higher quality with better stitching.
"GET THESE!" 01/11/11
If you are ever cold or find yourself outdoors during winter (or really any partially cold season), buy these! I read that these don't hold odor, and I thought that perhaps it just didn't smell AS bad... but know this as truth: this does not smell in the least! I have worn these for several days straight and they are great and smell perfectly fine. I also find myself completely dry and no perspiration from sweat. This stuff rocks!
"Icebreaker is the only way to go...." 12/11/10
I recently bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them! We like to venture out and hike in cool Michigan temperatures and these are the perfect base layer. They have quickly become his go to long underwear for anything cold. They fit really well and the merino wool is very soft and has exceptional breathability. With him raving about these, I just purchased a pair for myself, wow, they are super comfortable against the skin too. This is a must have for anyone who likes outdoor activity. I highly recommend this these Icebreaker leggings!
"The magic of wool is worth the price" 10/26/10
When it gets cold these are my go to item. I wear them under pants when I take my dog for a walk in a foot of snow. I wear them when I go for a bike ride in the spring and fall. I wear them when I'm home alone and want to do the SNL Sprockets dance. These are so comfortable that if you forget that they are on. They are obviously more expensive then cotton long underwear but you get what you pay for. You can wear these multiple times without having to wash them. And when you do wash them, just lay them out flat to dry. Taking care of them couldn't be easier! I highly recommend splurging on a pair. You won't regret it!
"You Don't Even Know They're There (except that you don't get cold)" 03/23/10
I was nervous about the potential for an itch factor with these, but I absolutely love them. They don't itch at all like some other brands do, and best of all they keep me warm without making me sweat. I will definitely be buying another pair when the need arises.
"Wool, no stink" 03/28/09
Great fit. Wool is light (but warm) and doesn't itch. Only complaint is the waist band and the plastic icebreaker tag.
