This will be a purchase you will never regret! It is AMAZING. It shoots high quality videos and you can screen shot your videos for even more awesome photos. There are tons of tutorials and websites (blogs) available on creating movies for sharing with others using your Hero.

"If you want an HD vid cam that blows your mind, this is it!" 04/04/13

There is no better way to capture the great moments than with the GoPro HERO3 Black Edition Adventure Camera. It is not only one of the most versatile HD camera/camcorders, it is one of the most rugged. Low light situations may present you with some grainy footage, but daylight is sufficient to sharpen the image right up. If you plan to get one of these things, spring for the Removable LCD Touch Screen so your friends don't think you are lame when you have to pull out the laptop to show them how you just pulled off the craziest stunt of your life. Above all else, use it often, no matter what the conditions...life doesn't wait for the rain to stop and neither should you.

"Great Camera!" 03/05/13

The black edition offers a plethora of capture settings. Chances are you won't use a majority of them. When you're getting your game on, the last thing you'll want to do is mess with camera settings. I used one setting most of the time (1080@30fps), and kept wondering if I would have been better off saving the money and sticking with the silver version. I used a helmet mount and a pole-mount while snowboarding. The pole mount worked great. The helmet mount resulted in a lot of audio chatter and jittery video. Eliminate this by using the white rubber thing that is included with some mounts. If you're going out for a day or longer, invest in a large memory card and some extra wasabi batteries.

"Best action camera ever made" 03/04/13

This is definitly the best action camera ever made, and its so small!! the camera is 12MP, and the quality is so great!! This is definitly one of the best items i own, and I use it when im snowboarding, climbing, diving and driving. Its a must.

"The best Go Pro to date, you can't go wrong." 02/16/13

My husband purchased this for my 16 year old son for Christmas. This little puppy is unbelieveable. The footage from this tiny little thing is superb, much nicer than the hero 2. Sound quality is excellent and the battery lasts over an hour in 1080p. The App for Android works flawlessly and makes for convenient shots. I would recommend a very good quality memory card. We purchased a 32GB Ultra microSDHC (Class 10). People trying to use less than class 10 have had freezing issues. Not one day since Christmas has gone by that I didn't have to look at a pic, watch a video, or hear something about the "Go Pro". My husband scored big when he bought this for our son.

"Huge improvement over the H2" 01/27/13

The Black edition H3 is better in every way, than the H2. The low light filming capabilities are much better (that was one of things i really hated about the H2) Its still not great in low light, but its much more tolerable now. Better clarity and definition, better frame rates, better sound from the internal mic,smaller, and lighter... just to name a few of the improvements.

"BEST POV CAMERA JUST GOT BETTER" 12/22/12

The gopro 3 is best yet. The wifi is game changing with the iPhone. You never have to worry about guessing if yout shot is framed up anymore. I can't believe how much smaller this thing is. GoPro never ceases to amaze me.
