"I approve" 03/15/13
I got these shoes a few months ago and absoloutly love them. They are a good fit for me and havent changed much from when i first got them. Try to keep them stuffed when not being used to help them keep their shape inside your pack.
"Decent buy" 11/01/12
If I were you I would buy some sportiva shoes. These are decent, but no the most comfortable. They are also not the strongest and longest lasting shoes. But if you are just looking for a cheap, off brand shoe, this is the one!
"Great shoe for the price." 09/27/12
I bought these a few sizes down based on other climbers reviews. Initially they were tight and my toes took a beating for the first few routes. After five or so trips to my local spot they finally have stretched out and I can wear them the entire time. I'm a beginner and these shoes have just the right amount of grip to get me doing more advanced routes. Solid choice.
"Boom! Awesome shoe" 05/21/12
A buddy of mine raved on how great they were, so I dove in bought a pair myself. Great shoe for any type of lead/top rope climbing, and they give a solid hold for any technical bouldering I've done with them. Once you break them in, they fit like a glove. Just ordered my second pair.
"Great climbing shoe: affordable and able" 04/26/12
I love this shoe. At first I was worried about the fit, so I looked up a couple reviews about how to size it. I am always apprehensive about buying shoes without having tried them on first. I ended up downsizing from my street shoe size 12 to a size 11.5. I couldn't be happier with the fit, the shoe will stretch to your fit. Comfortable enough to wear all day, capable enough to climb harder routes. Two thumbs up!
"Perfect for what i need them for." 03/19/12
I ordered these on the site and took a gamble on the size. it took a while to break in but now they are as comfy as my tight running shoes. The toe points well and the steath rubber is plenty grabby on a good rock. feels like wet glass on worn rocks but it you can find a crimp they are spot on. great for gym and outdoor climbing. I only want another pair with an aggressive arch and good edge for the more serious day.
"The best all around shoes that you can wear all day long" 02/07/12
The first and last shoe that average climber will need. They are aggressive enough for hard bouldering and comfortable enough for multipitch trad leads. They are actually size very close to your street shoe thats right no need to down size and I love them
"I'm living proof that these climbing shoes take you to the next level." 12/07/11
These are the most comfortable shoes I could find in Lansing. I am more of a fan of lace up shoes than velcro, but the Five Ten Rogue Pulls it off nicely. I've been a climber all my life, but the last few years I've been getting serious about it. If you were like me and wondering if you should go with shoes, the answer is yes and the Five Ten Rogue will bring you to the next level.
"Great Budget performance shoe" 06/14/11
Similar to the Evolve Defy and other budget rock climbing shoes both in price and performance. After trying both the evolve on and this at the store, I felt that the Rogue had a better overall feel. Plus I found the styling a lot better than the evolve, although that wasn't a big issue for me. I've just taken this for gym climbing and it performs great there. Had it on continuously for over 2 hours with minimal discomfort. Edging was easy but was still pretty sensitive and for the price I'm definitely satisfied.Perhaps a little concerned about how much it will stretch, but it's perfectly sized as it is now for me.
"Awesome Shoe!" 04/30/11
Great shoe. I just started rock climbing and this shoe fits great. Its already started to break in a bit. It was a little tight at the beggingin but not it fits perfect. Great shoe for the price and a really good choice for beginners.
"Best to keep them in the gym" 04/11/11
These shoes are advertised as transitional from gym to crag, but every time i've used them outside I can't put my trust in them. The edging isn't the greatest on tiny nubs and gibs and the rubber isn't sticky enough to supplement this problem. The other thing I don't like is that the closer velcro strap (w/ the 510 logo) works well but the other one is almost totally useless. I only use these shoes for plastic pulling
