"Great boot but..."

So first I have to say that Moosejaw has the wrong photo. The boot is all tan that being said it becomes the most ugly shoe that I have ever put on. This thing looks like an orthopedic old man shoe with all tan. To me the look of the shoe is not so important as long as it has a good feel. This shoe is stupendous. I put the shoe on and i could tell that it would be great for a long hike or trip. This shoe offers alot of grip just like all five ten shoes. The ancle security is great. Sizing runs 1/2 size smaller than expected. Bottom line: Get the black!!

"The toe WILL start to separate"

Used these for two months in Afghanistan before they needed twice weekly applications of shoe goo to keep the sole on the toe. It got to about 3'' of separation before I just threw them away. Great shoes for the two months, the outsole is grippy and the plastic heel cap thing is nice but you can find those features on other shoes/boots.
