Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best possible shoe for technical canyoneering I first tried out the 5.10 canyoneer on a trip to zion and i purchased a pair of retired rentals from ZAC and even with blown out soles and holes in the uppers the shoe performed amazingly well. My first day I started with a pair of keen newport h2 that was huge mistake. i went to ZAC and grabbed the second hand pair which i wore for the rest of the 5 days i was there. im sure the support and comfort of a new pair will be superior but for a the ones i had i was also impressed fits very similar to the guide shoe they make with the same sole neoprene kept my feet warm and comforatble. basically a beefy approach shoe that drains and dries well like i previously said simply the best shoe for tech canyoneering.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The best grip in wet canyons. Hard to adjust. By far the best gripping shoe in wet canyons. Amazing traction but it comes with a price. Hard to adjust with the buckle closure. Laces or a ratchet would work way better. I love them in the canyon but the long hikes in or out have proven to Very Painful in these. Very hard to control your foot movement with only 2 buckles. Loss of toenails on long hikes are very possible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREat gear I am going to use these for the narrows at Zion in July. I am a female who wears size 7 shoes. I order 6.5 men's canyoneer shoes since it's the best canyoneering shoes out there. I am going to wear these with a pair of 5mm neoSport socks. I've tried them on with the socks and it feels good ! Looking forward to the trip and using them. ,,My husband also has a pair, he also went a full size up to wear with the 5mm neoprene socks.
