DECENT FEATURES of the Five Ten Men's Anasazi Arrowhead Shoe
"great for overhanging routes & boulders"

I wanted a shoe that had a slight downturn to them, since the superdownturn shoes like the Evolv Shamans just don't fit my feet too well.Plus, the Five Ten Anasazi Velcros are my all-time favorite shoe &these are pretty much the exact same shoe w/ a slight downturn. Sothese excel at edging on overhanging routes & boulders. I sized themthe same as my Velcro Anasazi, i won't lie they hurt initially, butthey're a perfect fit now.

my favorite shoe is the Anasazi Velcro, but i wanted a shoes w/ a more aggressive downturn for overhanging routes & and boulders. This shoe is the exact same last as the Velcros, but w/ a small downturn. i sized them the same which was painful (i need quickdraws on the pull tabs to get these on), but after a few days they fit like a glove. i can't wear the super aggressive shoes like the Evolv Shamans, so this works great.
so i've been using the anasazi velcro for over 8 years and thought i'd try the Arrowheads for the more overhanging routes & bouldering. I've tried the extreme downturned shoes like the ones from Evolv & Sportiva, but i just couldn't get used to them. These are only slightly downturned & has the best edging toe (in my opinion) of any shoe. I'm a huge Five Ten shoe & Stealth/C4 rubber fan. Anyway these shoes are great. They took a few tries to get them on, i won't like they were a pain, but now they fit perfectly. i sized them the same size as my anasazi velcros; size 7.
I love these shoes, and they serve me well for most climbing styles; but their greatest weakness is definitely cracks. I wear usually wear a 12 or 13 street shoe, and have these in a 13. It's a good, tight fit. I can keep them on for a few pitches without too much pain. However, if you're looking for a super-aggressive shoe, and don't mind pulling them off after every pitch/problem, you may want to size them down.
I love this shoe but it is a really snug fit. If you have wide feet it may not be the best shoe for you. They do stretch so size down. I wear a 10-10.5 street shoe and I got a 9 and they fit great after they stretch out. The rubber is sticky but it's not the best shoe for smearing. It's great for edging and overhanging problems where you have to do a lot of heel and toe hooking. You can also rely on the heel not moving on a heel hook. It's a great shoe but it is a bit expensive.
I'll start by saying that these are not the most comfortable shoes, but why would you buy downturned shoes if you were looking for comfort? You buy them because you want extra gripping power on those small holds and overhanging routes. I highly recommend these as I do most Five Ten shoes. They seem to work well with narrow feet as do all the Anasazis. I wear between a 10 and 10.5 street shoe, and bought a 9.5 in these. They definitely run smaller than both my 9.5 Anasazi Verdes and Spires, probably due to the downturn. They are lined, but mine have stretched slightly after a short break-in period. Sized correctly, you will love these shoes for aggressive rock.
This is great for steep terrain, as it has a pretty strongly downcurved toe. The toe is also nice and pointy for getting into pockets. The upper will stretch a bit to fit your foot, so after the first few uses it fits like a glove. The stealth rubber is also awesome.
