The Dakine Vault 23 is one of 58 chambers hidden across the globe that boasts rare jewels and historic artifacts that are together estimated at $549 million. Just kidding. It's a backpack. But trust me, it's awesome. At 21 inches tall, the pack's main compartment has ample room for traveling gear or school supplies, including a 17" laptop which fits comfortably in it's own padded sleeve. This Dakine has pockets to spare; there are three alone on the exterior: a zip-closed pocket on the front for documents or snacks, a fleece-lined accessory pocket for your phone, and a deployable water bottle pocket. If you don't need the water pocket, just zip it shut to keep the material from snagging. If you're traveling with a lot of stuff, a sternum strap offers extra support, while multiple back panels cushion the weight. So it's just like I told you: the Vault 23 is awesome. I bet in a game of Would You Rather, you would choose the Vault 23 over $549 million*.(*Not likely)
"This backpack is so bad it gave me back problems"
Pockets are a mess and waste space, the thing is like wearing a flat bucket with salamander shoulder straps that constantly fall off. Contrary to the photo (or your imagination) this backpack has neither style nor function and is actually painful to wear. Dakine should recall these.
