Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent piece of equipment that fits securely and is very breathable. I really like how the helmet stays in place. Not all helmets stay put on your head, but the Armour does. It never rides up on my forehead or falls backward like some other helmets have in the past. I've used it for 8-hour climbs on sunny-side walls, and hardly noticed that I was wearing it. Although some reviews discussed problems with adjusting the straps, I found it easy to adjust the sizing right out of the box. The chin strap is also a big plus. So far it has done its job, protecting my head from falling rock and occasional clumsiness. I've been able to wear a hat underneath in colder New England weather, so the dialing size adapter is very useful. I would recommend it without fail.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it so far I bought this helmet for ice climbing and mountaineering. I have a pretty big head and I can get a thin beanie hat under this with no problem, but that doesn't leave much room for much else. Those with giant heads, giant hair, and/or giant hats beware. Once it is on it is light, sleek, and unobtrusive. The styling and color options set it apart from other helmets for those who like to color coordinate (or clash). I'm not in love with the head lamp holders. They work, but aren't quite as slick as the ones on BD helmets I have used in the past.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable........Best of both worlds I tried on too many helmets trying to find a comfortable one. The adjustable strap in the back doesn't dig into my head like many other ones had. I feel it is a good mix of formed foam and a suspension type helmet. I really liked the Petzl Ecrin-Roc, but wasn't going to double what I paid for this one. The sweat strap goes all the way around the head, great idea, we'll see if it will hold up to the hotter days of the summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good inexpensive helmet Solid helmet that kept my scalp protected through numerous interactions with the rock while rock climbing. It is comfortable enough for me to wear all day and it adjusts nicely. Chin strap is padded and not annoying. Men's and women's seem identical except for the color scheme (bought one for the wife). Headlamp clips have been useful too.,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Comfortable Bought this helmet over the summer and have used it several times top-roping. It's extremely comfortable and really adjustable. I was torn between this and the Petzl Elios, and I think this is the better choice. The part that is in contact with your head is soft and not irritating at all

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, light, no problems with fit or adjusting Just went canyoneering with the Armour helmet, took a couple minutes to adjust and fit well. Felt very comfortable with good suspension and light too. easily attached my contour camera to the side, good buy. Plus got a good price at moosejaw. Am happy all around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Helmet Very light and as comfortable as a helmet can be I suppose. It doesn't seem like it could withstand a hard knock, but I'd much rather have it on than take a rock to the melon! Hopefully, I never test it's true capacity to save my head.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the price I bought this helmet on sale because I was being cheap. After using it I found it to be light, cool and it fit great. Baggage handlers love this helmet too. I took mine on a trip with me and they kept it.
