Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product - friends like it who use hydration system This is my first Camelbak Hydration system. I am old school - backpacking for over 40 years - and I have always used the old water bottle hanging off your pack everywhere. This is so compact and easy to use. I don't know what took me so long. My friends have all got and use different types of hydration systems, but all love the protective sleeve that helps in carrying and hanging the bag when not in your pack. Quarter turn to close refill port is nice, large refill port is easy to fill. This is a well made and attractive new part of my backpacking equipment. If you need to replace your Hydration System or have never used one - this is what you want!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my intended use I actually use this bladder in the tank bag of my motorcycle. Being able to sip a little water throughout the day is much better than downing a liter at the gas station only to have to stop and pee 10 miles down the road.,, If you pack this thing with ice, then top it off with water it seems to be fairly well insulated for my purposes. I have cold water for hours at a time.,,,,The only thing that's a bit of a pain is getting the thing to dry out after you rinse it out at the end of a journey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential gear for extending trips This Camelback bladder is an essential piece of equipment I take on every backpacking trip or long day hike. When water is hard to find, an extra 3 Liters (100 ounces) that slips into your backpack can be the difference between enjoyment and dehydration. The protective sleeve keeps the bladder from being punctured, and there are several hooks/straps located in various places to help attach it to backpacks. ,,Why pay $100 or more for a separate 100oz pack when you can get this for $45-50?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have a drinking problem I have a drinking problem and my Camelbak 3 liter really helps. I like my beverages and this helps me consume them conveniently through a straw.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good hydration bladder I've had the older unbottle since we started about ten years ago. They are holding up strong with no problems or signs of wear. However there is a slight pastic taste, but again I've had it forever. The newer ones maybe better.
