Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pack Around!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love this pack. It is small enough to take it anywhere. I have used it for hiking, hunting, camping, a trip to Disneyland and many other crazy adventures. I love the little storage compartment. It hold my keys, gum, candy, cell phone and lots of little extras. I plan on buying a couple more of these packs for the next family adventure we go on. My kids need to have their own pack so they will leave mine alone.,,My husband has a camelbak from about 12 years ago and it is still doing great. I would day this pack would compare to the pack he has had forever.,,What are you waiting for? Just buy this Camelbak. You won't be sorry

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Hiking Camelbak makes the best hydration packs. The materials of this backpack will last for decades with proper use. The sleek design allows for minimal weight and the technologically advanced blatter is efficient, and never cumbersome. I love taking my camelbak hiking and i've also taken it backpacking, fishing, and even to the local theme park. The possibilities are endless. Hydration packs are much more efficient than the traditional bottle. Remember to care for your pack. If left uncleaned, stagnent water in the reservoir can casue mold over time. This can be easily evoided, however, and camelbak offers mold elimenating cleaning methods on their website in case you slip up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pack I used to carry a water jug to the crag every trip to the Red, but now with this hydration pack that's no longer necessary. Its light and fits on the back really nicely. I also bike to and from school so the easy access bite valve is going to make it super easy to use while riding. Also, since it's a backpack, it is also handsfree. This is really helpful for many reasons, such as: taking a phone call, riding my bike, hiking, and in a multipitch climb. The only issue is it cannot hold more than a granola bar, but that's not expected or necessarily its purpose. Also, it is aesthetically pleasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got hooked two years ago, never looked back I work in the field a lot and am constantly on the move and when I'm not moving I'm probably setting up or tearing down muddy equipment, so having this with me and being able to take drinks as I need them without having to clean off my hands or worry about getting chemicals or whatnot on my water bottle is awesome.,,,,Also great for light day hikes in the summer. Throw a few granola bars in there, your keys and bungee on a rain coat (I live in the upper midwest, it's going to rain at some point during the day). Holds up great, comfortable on my back and the red is really snazzy looking.,,,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best hydration pack for its size. This thing is great if it is all you need for a day out in the wilderness or on an urban adventure. It is not big and blky and sits right ono your bike so it is good for running or biking. I used this for day hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains last spring break and it kept me nice and hydrated all day. I loved it. I also wear it when I walk to class here at MSU. Our campus is like huge so when I need to traverse it multiple times a day for classes I fill this guy up and even throw in some ice cubes and I have refreshing cold water alll day. This thing is perfect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for an entry-level hydro pak Camelbak is the gold standard for hydration paks. This one is a good entry-level choice. The 70 oz. capacity is nice -- but there's definitely a point of diminishing marginal water quality after about the first 50 oz. or so, since your body heat will almost bring the last 20 oz. to a boil. (I prefer to use a smaller size Camelbak and try to stop a few times to refill along the way.) The only real downside I can think of is that I wish it had a zippered pocket for keys, wallet, etc.; the bungee isn't very reliable, especially on bumpy off-road rides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for a bike ride! I use this Camelback for when I go mountain biking. I usually go out on multiple hour ride and use both my water bottle cages and a camel back. This classic size holds plenty to get my through my ride. I've never had an issues with camelback in terms of leaking. The bladder has to be kept clean and I've only used plain water in my pack. The size of the pack is just about right if you only plan to carry water and maybe some gel packs or a granola bar. Don't expect to carry your bike pump, a tube or other bike gear though, you'll have to get a larger bag or put this in a saddle bag. I've also used this bag for my marathon training as a substitute for my Fuel water belt and it has worked great. The chest strap really helps keep the pack in place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Camelbak is simply the best Been using Camelbak for over 10years and I've never had any problems. This design turned out to be too small for extra cargo once the bladder was full. So I pretty much only use it when biking because I have a small bag under my seat for essentials, keys, ID, tool kit, first aid, etc. I frequently remove the bladder and use it as a small pack for urban day trips (above essentials + camera, phone, snack, etc). ,,,,If you ONLY want to carry water, this is it. If you need/want a few extra items, look for a design with pockets.
