Rated 5 out of 5 by from clippy You can't go wrong with these bad boys. I don't use mine for climbing. Rather, I clip everything to the outside of my pack with them. They don't fail and nothing has fallen off yet. I prefer the D design over the standard oval because you can slip more items through the hole since it is a little wider. These are a must, there are plenty of uses for them, and something always comes up that requires another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price Oh- the classic light D carabiner. For the price it is great to have a ton of these lying around. They work great for so many different aspects of climbing (when you're not worring about weight), but also for the occasional drunken escapades that requires afixing a rope to something that a rope shouldn't be afixed to. Regardless, this is a great biner to have lying around.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great bail out carabiner My soul purpose for buying this carabiner was to use it in case I had to bail out. I wanted to make certain I had a strong carabiner that I could rely on without worrying how much it cost. I am certain this will do the task and in the mean time I plan on using this to attach my chalk bag to my harness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid carabiner at a good price Pretty good carabiner. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done and doesn't cost a whole lot. Great for someone looking to acquire some gear on a limited budget. It is a little on the narrow side and the gate doesn't open extremely far, but it works fine for anchoring and top-roping applications.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple, cheap, shiny. Effective. Now, lots of things require biners. Some things require lots of biners. These things are light and strong, as well as cheap. Sure, they don't have a 21st century powder coat and recurved gate thingy, but who wants to pay $15 a biner? you can get three of these for that price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Biner... I use this mainly to hang stuff from the outside of my pack and it works great. The biner opens wide enough for everything that I have put on it. I haven't used it for climbing but I did use it once to save a stranded wombat from quicksand. Held the wombat fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pick Up Four! This last trip we had to do several 100 ft rappels to get to the bottom of the gorge and every biner was used. I had a few extra, but the other guys needed them. At home, they make the swing in the bedroom possible!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Biners! These carabiners are lighter and stronger than their oval counterparts. They are also thinner. I'm not really sure what is not to love about them. Oh yeah, they are also cheaper- a win, win, win situation.
