Inflates easily. Very thick and comfy. I'm 6-4 195 and fit great. I like how I can easily adjust the firmness while in my sleeping bag. Very warm. Sends your body heat right back at you. Also, I sleep on my side and chest and it was comfy. 10/10. Like I said I purchased another one for my wife.
Just used this sleeping pad for a 5 day trek in Pisgah National Forest, and boy am I happy. Kept me warm and dry (since I was elevated so high off of the ground) even in torrential rain and cold temps. Seriously, y'all, this thing is like a cloud. I absolutely love it. It takes a few minutes to blow up and then compress down to fit into the stuffsack, but it's absolutely worth it!

Decided to spend the couple extra dollars to get the insulated (Didnt buy from moosejaw due to needing it that night, big mistake, moosejaw is cooler and cheaper, hope you forgive me this once) They pack well, and are super comfy. Thats all.

This thing is awesome. Super light and super tiny when rolled up. Kept me plenty warm on the Santa Cruz trek in Cordillera Blanca. My only complaints are how much it travels on the floor of my tent and the inability to slide over it seamlessly in the night.(rolling over)
I had read a lot of reviews talking about the mysterious leak, I decided to buy the pad anyways and I spent that first camp trip worrying that I would wake up in the snow but it never happened! was really impressed at how small the pad will pack up too, it's downright amazing.
My friend let me borrow this on our last trip. All i can say is i'll never use a therm-a-rest again! gonna buy this before my next trip. Best sleep i've had camping (outside of a hammock)
After dealing with the foam pads for many years I decided to take the plunge and try an inflatable. The mummy version of this pad is great. It's actually pretty light and has a decent R-value compared to other inflatables. The first night on the trail with this pad was like sleeping on a warm cloud! The neoair is lighter but I think this pad is more comfortable and actually warmer. The only half-assed complaint I could think of is that it's a little noisy if you move around alot. Did I mention that it packs down to about the size of a 24oz beer? The bottom line is, you can't find anything this comfortable that is this light. Thank you Big Agnes! I'll sleep with you any night!
If you are like me and have a hard time staying in one place all night, you should probably go for the rectangular style instead of the mummy.I owned this pad back in 2006, and took it out on a snowy Spring day above 10K feet. My first issue was that I couldn't find level ground, and had to settle with a slight downward slant for setting up my tent. I then spent the whole night sliding off my sleeping pad, or waking up with only half my body on this pad. This is mostly a personal problem, but someone like myself should stick to the 'wider is better' version.
I got this pad to go with the Big Agnes Grouse Mountain bag. As expected the two work very well together. The pad matches the bags 15 degree rating. I was also to shave a few ounces with the mummy shaped pad since wasn’t a concern since the pad slips into the sleeping bag prevent me from rolling off of it. The only complaint is that is seems to take a couple minutes to inflate (but also expected since it is 2.5" thick).
I love this sleeping pad i have had it for a few years and it is holding up great. It is extremely light compared to some other pads and its half the size of a therm-a-rest pad. It is super warm and it is perfect for most mummy bags. My dad loved mine so much he had to get one too. I am 6' 3'' and i can fit on the pad fine so it works good for taller guys too. Bottom line this pad is great and worth the money
I bought this BA sleeping pad about three months ago and have used it extensively in Yosemite in the cold and it has stood up exceptionally well. The fabric is rugged, the design is comfortable, and set up takes about a minute and a half of blowing. Deflation is a breeze, too, just unscrew the not-detachable-can't-get-lost cap when you wake up and stay in your bag for another thirty seconds, then roll it up like normal, starting at the foot, to get the rest of the air out. The mummy shape saves that much more weight and space. It even fits into my bivy, no problem.
The first time I ever used this sleepin pad was when I had way to much to drink (or should I say the perfect amount) at my friends house and had to stay the night. The pad was extremly comfortable and I slept like a dead president. The only downfall was that i fell asleep with a beer in my hand and all the beer ran down the valleys on the outside of the pad right to my waist. You guessed it, I woke up and had to figure out that I did not wizz myself. I soon bought the exact sleepin pad and went camping near tahoe where snow was present and stayed warm and comfy the whole night from the chilly terra firma!
