Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, Reliable, Incredibly Lightweight 1-Person Tent I've had this tent for a few months now and have used it in varying conditions for spring and summer camping in northern Michigan. It's amazing! Packs done so small, and so light, it's like you're carrying a bivy! And yet, you're getting what is basically a free standing, 1-person tent with room good ventilation and room to sit up. I've used this little guy in wind, rainy, cold, and warm conditions so far, and have yet to be disappointed in the slightest. A great option for backpackers who want super or ultralight sleeping options, but still desire comfort and protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used it in 32 degree and windy conditions, stable and very roomy. check out the shoulder width Used it in 32 degree and windy conditions in OH 4/17/10 on Zeleski backpacking trail, stable and very roomy. check out the shoulder width to foot box, this allows you with a mummy bag to put all your clothes in, 4 clips on roof to attach with limited storage net. The vestibule easily held my pack dry and boots. Was really windy and impressed with stability and lack of condensation. Get the footprint, I tried a 5 foot tarp since that is width but it was not worth it. Perfect 1 man tent for the price and weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect tent So $300 bucks and some change for 27.5 square feet of space if you count the vestibule is not bad at all if you consider that in NYC people pay $1200+ a month rent for 100 square feet of space! Oh but they have location you say? Can they packup their apartment and take it to the top of Big Frog Mountain in Tennessee? Or can they take it to Emerald Lake in Montana for a nice 3 day getaway? Yeah I didn't think so! I have spent many of nights in the woods with this cozy 1 studio portable apartment in all types of weather with not 1 issue.,,If you stake it down properly (like I did) it survived 40+mph wind gusts like a champ! Winter camping is great, it holds temperature very well due to its small size! Summer camping! ditch the vestibule and feel the breeze! I am 100% happy with my purchase and would do it again!.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely Light Weight I got this tent because I have been doing more 1 person trips and I got sick of lugging around my 5lb two person tent. This was definitely the answer, it is extremely light weight and compacts extremely small to about the size of a grape fruit with a compression bag. Its a little tight which is to be expected. I'm 5'8'' and 140lb so I fit fine but anyone over 6' may want to consider something else. Overall great tent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it, but wish my pack would fit in the vestibule This is a great tent. Fast setup and tear-down, well made, very light. Ventilation is good, without letting in the wind. No condensation issues. I have the footprint too which is overpriced but fits really well. They say you can setup the fly and footprint without the tent but I've never done that. The only negative is the vestibule is too small for my 70-liter pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survived a Major Mountain Storm on the Emerald Isle So I did some serious (read obsessive) research between this and a couple other 1P tents. Eventually landed on this one with the weight being the deciding factor, after getting over my desire for a side-entry and slightly larger vestibule (which the runner-up had, but for a pound more weight... I'm barely over 100lbs, so every bit of weight I can eliminate does make a noticeable difference).,,,,Even with high winds and drizzle starting, this tent was a cinch to set up quickly. It kept me warm dry and protected from 16+hrs of strong rains, 30+mph winds (not counting gusts), and sleet during an early-February storm in the Wicklow Mountains. It definitely had its work cut out on its first trip. I did have to tighten the guy lines once and had a tiny bit of condensation, but really nothing that I wouldn't anticipate in such conditions. Easy to come down even in horrid weather.,,,,This trip was going to make or break this tent, and needless to say, it'll be my usual shelter from now on.
