This is a great one person tent. Lot's of features... big headroom and sturdy. I've taken this tent backpacking many times. It's my go-to tent! Check out my video review for more.
This tents been great to me so far at 50+ nights spent in it since purchase. The extra length, side entry, true free standing nature, and minimal extra weight made choosing the Copper Spur UL1over the Fly Creek UL1 an easy decision. I'm 6'4" and fit well, with a little space leftover for my bag and some clothes scattered about. Sets up in an absurdly small amount of time, and the material has thus far been durable (stopped using footprint to save some weight a while back). Initial investment for this tent felt a hair steep but zero regrets any more. I constantly am upgrading/changing out my gear and this is one item that I have no reason to change, perfect tent for all my purposes.
Though my wife might think otherwise, this could possibly be the last tent I every buy...well, maybe not. But I love this tent. Self supporting, except for two stakes for the vestibules. There is room inside for gear and my 6'2" 200 lb self. I love the side entry for getting in and out easily. It's a quick pitch. Three pounds of great weather and bug protection. What a difference from the canvas, open ended pup tents from the early 60's.
