I did enjoy this meal greatly. Everything tastes better when you're hungry and on the trail but this was really very good. A great blend of savory, sweet, sour, etc. I did not notice it being too salty.

i know that the salt content in freeze dried foods is always really high and i accept that. . . usually. But i just couldn't get past the salt in this one, every bite was painful to me, chugging a ton of water i shouldn't be wasting after a mouthful/

I know in freeze dried foods that the salt content is always going to be high but in this pack i just weasn't able to get past it. I was chugging water down after every bite, and what was annoying was that it actually tasted pretty good outside of the obscene amount of salt in every bite.
