"Warm and cozy" 01/19/13
I wear this jacket more than any other in the winter (and prob sometimes when not necessary). I live in SW MO and doesn't get extremely cold here but has been in 10s this year and no complaints from me. Love the adjustable hood and fuzzy lining. Would buy another one if anything happens to the one I have. I was able to give away my North Face Down jacket because I never wore it anymore! Sorry north face....arc'teryx has best quality.
"Great Lightweight Jacket" 01/14/13
This jacket fits me perfectly. I got a size small: I'm 5'2", 120 lbs, and a climber, and the jacket fits my shoulders really well. It lets my arms move without restriction, and since my torso is kind of short, the length is perfect. If I wanted to wear more than a sweater underneath, I would get a medium, but honestly I like the fuzzy inner part of the jacket close to my skin. It fits under my puffy coat, so layering is not a problem. It was a little pricey, but if it holds up the way other Arcteryx products do, I expect to get years of use out of it!
"Super Warm Lightweight Jacket" 01/11/13
This jacket is so cozy, it feels like you're wrapped in a warm blanket! I do feel it is a little short in front and the pockets seems a bit high and that's why I didn't "Love it!" I'm 5'4", 130 lbs and I purchased the medium. It fits great everywhere else, but I feel like I'm pulling it down in front quite a bit. Otherwise, I've received many compliments on the look of the jacket and it's definitely keeping me warm this winter in northern Colorado.
"Very High Quality!" 12/09/12
Beautiful coat with very nice fabrics. I bought this for my girlfriend as an early Christmas gift and she loves it. However, I always tend to order a size up when ordering Arcteryx as their products tend to be very fitted. If you're unfamiliar with Arcteryx I'd think twice about it. With this jacket I actually ordered a large when she usually wears a small. It gives you a little more room if you intend on layering.
"Redesign would make this the best jacket ever!" 11/26/12
I was so excited to order this jacket after reading so many great reviews about this jacket, but was quite disappointed upon receiving it. I absolutely love the color and, more importantly, the material. The fit is definitely awkward though. I have an average build, but this jacket was bulky and loose in the shoulders and a very short length falling above my hips. If this jacket was a little longer in length and the fit in the shoulders was a bit more flattering, it would be much more worth the hefty pricetag and would easily become a favorite!
"Great Technical Softshell Jacket" 08/26/12
I spent 3 months in China on a climbing trip, and when it started to get cold, this was perfect. The sleeves are tailored (tight at the wrists), and the lining is fuzzy and soft. But if you're looking for a technical jacket, it's perfect. Also, I would recommend sizing up if you want to layer underneath it. It is a snug fit but still cute. One small point of contention: the logo on the sleeve and back of the jacket peeled off after a few months of moderate wear. Also, the material stains rather easily.I have hiked, climbed, slept and hung at camp out in this jacket, and it's wonderful. Although, because it's lined, it works better in chillier weather (it's not a light jacket).
"I finally bought the women's Hyllus Hoody after drooling over my boyfriend's version for a year!" 12/04/11
*FIT: I got the Medium and Large to compare. I'm 5'6" 155lbs - the M fit with just enough room to wear a thin long sleeve shirt underneath. If you're 130-140, the M will be roomy enough for a sweatshirt underneath, but for a closer fit, try a S. *SPECS: It's waterproof/wind-proof on the outside but warm and fuzzy on the inside. The pockets are slightly high so if you're backpacking, your waist belt doesn't cover them. The jacket has good stretch for athletic movements or hugs! *VERDICT: Perfect "outdoorsy" jacket (Autumn through Spring) for hikes, bonfires, walks in the rain, or morning strolls to a coffee shop. I'm a huge fan of Arcteryx & Moosejaw! (hope this review was helpful!)
"Very nice jacket, not for me" 11/22/11
Although this jacket is very comfortable, stylish, fashionable, etc., the fit was simply a little odd. It was super short in the torso and baggy in the upper arms. The lining was amazing, the color was gorgeous, but the fit was just a little off :(
