FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:
Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.
Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.
Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.
Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.
Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

Top quality, great jacketThis jacket is fast becoming my favorite. I spend alot of time on the trail and this jacket has all the features that make it perfect for me. Fantastic range of motion in the shoulders and arms, non-binding, breathable fabric on the sides, stretch fabric at the wrists to hold the sleeves in place comfortably, perfect length (mid hip), warm yet light weight and packable. And it is figure flattering and comes in great colors ( I have the magenta). Size wise, I have it in large and that will accommodate the layers that hikers wear (warm without bulk). I wear a 10 to 12 in street clothes. You will not be disappointed in this jacket!

Extremely lightweight!I just purchased this jacket in the lapis blue, the color is exactly what you see online. I'm 5'4" 140 lbs and I ordered the medium. The torso part of the jacket fits comfortably with plenty of room for layering underneath. I'm able to fit a fleece and sweater underneath comfortably because the fleece paneling makes the jacket forgiving in fit. However it's noticeably large on me through the shoulders and arms, the sleeves are really much longer than what I need. A small would probably fit perfectly for someone small in stature with a medium build.

Super comfortable, soft, warm, and thin - I live in this!I saw this jacket in a store and fell in love with it immediately - so excited when I found it in black on Moosejaw.com at a great price. I can wear fleece under it and a shell over it and still ski with total freedom of movement. It will keep you warm and dry on its own in most situations. It's so stylish you can wear it everywhere - looks great with a cute scarf. It's practically waterproof and dries superfast. Love love love it!

absolutely fantastic jacket! great for wind in Rocky Mountains! This jacket was great on my trip to Colorado. It was not only warm, but it resisted the wind too. I also used it in colder weather as a top shell. I recommend this jacket and think that it's super awesome!!
