ARC'TERYX MEASUREMENT and FIT GUIDE

HOW to MEASURE:

Chest / Bust - Measure around your chest / bust, holding the measuring tape under your armpit.

Waist - Measure around the natural waist, which is often the narrowest part of your waist.

Hip - Measure around your hips at the widest part.

Sleeve Length - With your arms in a slightly bent postion, measure from the center of the back of your neck, along the length of your arm, to the wrist.

Inseam / Pant Length - From a standing position, measure from your crotch to your ankle.

Head Circumference - Measure the full circumference around the widest part of your head.

Hand Length - Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of the palm.

Hand Width - Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb.

• Please note that all the info provided above refers to body measurements, and NOT the dimensions of the garment.

FIT TYPE INFO and DETAILS:

Next to Skin Fit - These snugly-fitting garments are made with stretch fabrics to fit next to the skin to enhance moisture management and thermal efficiency. Garments in this fit category when constructed using Arc'teryx's heavier-weight AR and SV fabrics also perform very well as mid layer pieces, and users should consider selecting a larger size to accommodate a base layer underneath if the intention is to use this layering system as a mid layer option.

Trim Fit - Trim-fitted garments share the motion-friendly traits with Arc'teryx "Athletic" fit garments, but are patterned with lower volume for reduced bulk. These close-fitting pieces layer well under other garments.

Athletic Fit - This is the "Arc'teryx Standard" fit. These complete patterns utilize anatomical shaping and gussets to enhance motion by minimizing excess bulk. Easy layering under or over each item extends seasonal versatility and comfort.

Relaxed Fit - Relaxed fit garments rely on higher volume patterns and a reduced amount of articulation to offer roomy mobility.

Expedition Fit - Cut roomier than the Arc'teryx Athletic fit and suitable for winter/extreme conditions, Expedition (XPD) fit garments are cut larger to accommodate multiple layers without binding or restricting movement.

• You can find the fit type and additional fit info for Arc'teryx styles in the product description FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I must be crazy I have no clue what possessed me to be a hoody for this price. I plead insanity. That aside this is a great mid layer. Perfect for late fall early winter where it can dip down into the 30's and 40's. Keeps you perfectly warm and can be paired with a great shell to the ultimate winter combo. The quality is second to none which is expected of arcteryx. Everything feels like it wasn't made by a small child forced to work in deplorable conditions for pennies an hour. The whole hoody exudes quality but you have to pay for that quality and that's the only downfall. It's a bit expensive and probably will net you instant buyers remorse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arc'teryx Strato Hoody Rules! Best life time guaranteed investment i have made... Arc'teryx once again proves their greatness yet again with the Strato Hoody- another life time guaranteed, non bulky or heavy weighing, wind resistant, warm, comfortable, stylish mid layer/outer layer jacket. Most def a loyal fan to the brand Arc'teryx for doing what the wannabe competitors can't- provide fantastic gear that truly represents what it is meant to do. I got a men's size medium being a very tall, athletic young woman who likes the sleeve and torso length to be that beyond mid elbow/mid-waist, per how most women's sizes tend to fit me. I love the fact that I achieve the same aforementioned results irregardless of whether wearing a t-shirt or multiple layers under this Hoody.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket, but runs a little big I've had the strato for a little while and it seems to be larger around the mid section than other arcteryx clothing. I'm 6'2 and 170lbs and I have a few arcteryx items that are all larges and fit fine, but for some reason the sizing must be different for this jacket b/c I feel like I am wearing an XL. The jacket is still very warm, but I would recommend trying it on first to be sure the mid section fits well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PERFECT!! I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. The blue is a beautiful color (lighter than navy but darker than royal) and I also adore the honeycomb pattern detail. Boyfriend is 6'5" and weighs about 280 - I believe the XL will fit him perfectly (based on the fact that I tried that jacket on and know how the clothing he already owns fits me). Super warm but not too heavy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic brand The jacket is mediocre, not as nice as my Patagonia that was about half the price. It's pretty baggy, decent quality but over all nothing spectacular. It should be softer and thicker , overall very unimpressed. An appropriate price for this item would be around $80. If i had looked at it in a store i would not have purchased.,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, light weight, breathable and nice looking. I had a few Arcteryx jackets and this is one of my most favorite. It is a great, high quality jacket , warm, light weight, breathable and nice looking. Got it from Moosejaw's spring sale. Can't believe can buy it at so low price. I will check back more often. Recommend for my friends too.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The material pilled after one wash Very very dissapointed with the quality on outside of this fleece. The material pilled after the 1st wash. Besideds that that fleece is cosy and warm and fits well, but cant say its worth the money due to the overall image after one wash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built and warm Did some cross-country skiing this weekend in Vermont in 15 degrees (F) with just a tee underneath. This hoody kept me warm without heating up. You'll need a shell if the weather is windy.
