Very very dissapointed with the quality on outside of this fleece. The material pilled after the 1st wash. Besideds that that fleece is cosy and warm and fits well, but cant say its worth the money due to the overall image after one wash.
"Very Nice Hoody; The Usual Arcteryx Quality"
11/27/12
A very nice addition to my closetful of Arcteryx gear. Worn it a couple of times already in central New York beginnings of winter. Almost too warm for the 30s with just a ss T under it. and yes an iPhine 5 will fit in the sleeve pocket (but it's tight).
another great arcteryx product! really wanted the Firee but they discontinued it (whatsup with that???) so decided to try the strata; great quality, good fit. very nice fleece!
I've had the strato for a little while and it seems to be larger around the mid section than other arcteryx clothing. I'm 6'2 and 170lbs and I have a few arcteryx items that are all larges and fit fine, but for some reason the sizing must be different for this jacket b/c I feel like I am wearing an XL. The jacket is still very warm, but I would recommend trying it on first to be sure the mid section fits well.
"Arc'teryx Strato Hoody Rules! Best life time guaranteed investment i have made..."

Arc'teryx once again proves their greatness yet again with the Strato Hoody- another life time guaranteed, non bulky or heavy weighing, wind resistant, warm, comfortable, stylish mid layer/outer layer jacket. Most def a loyal fan to the brand Arc'teryx for doing what the wannabe competitors can't- provide fantastic gear that truly represents what it is meant to do. I got a men's size medium being a very tall, athletic young woman who likes the sleeve and torso length to be that beyond mid elbow/mid-waist, per how most women's sizes tend to fit me. I love the fact that I achieve the same aforementioned results irregardless of whether wearing a t-shirt or multiple layers under this Hoody.
arcteryx knows whats up! I bought this becasue i a am super cool and only buy the best. the snug wrists keep the sleeves from moving up my arms when putting a layer on top.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend. The blue is a beautiful color (lighter than navy but darker than royal) and I also adore the honeycomb pattern detail. Boyfriend is 6'5" and weighs about 280 - I believe the XL will fit him perfectly (based on the fact that I tried that jacket on and know how the clothing he already owns fits me). Super warm but not too heavy.
