The Spotter Pant by Arcteryx are built tough with a burly cotton canvas, these relaxed fitting pants are made for rough and tumble activities. Articulated knees and gusseted crotch amplify range of movement. Five jean-style pockets, plus an additional cell phone pocket, keep you organized and in touch.

"Very comfy but not durable" 03/22/13

I have had lots of arcteryx products and some last forever (like a Fission AR jacket from 2002 that has all stitching and zippers intact). These pants fit well, they are comfortable, pockets are mostly well placed - but this thing is not durable at all. After wearing them for four months, there is a see through hole where the fabric bunches up in the seat.

"Comfortable and Rugged" 10/31/12

Just ordered my second set of these. The first set I've been wearing for about 3 years and are showing some wear. Never had a rip or hole, and only minor repairs along the way(sow a new button on once in a while). Love these pants!

These pants are comfortable. Or I should say were as recent inactivity has widened the waist line. If I had a choice I would take the raider pant over these.

"Replaced my jeans" 03/28/12

Before owning these, I was a total jeans guy. I bought these as hiking pants, originally but loved them so much that I wear them everywhere. My jeans sit in a lonely drawer now. Worth the purchase!

"The best pant you'll ever own...really!" 09/08/11

I've had my pair for a couple years now, and they are only just falling apart. That may not sound like a long time, but I have pretty much lived in these pants. At first I only used them for looking good, (they look so classy) but after a couple weeks I realized that I never wanted to take them off. From then on they have done everything I do which includes a good bit of climbing, hiking, biking, and 4 months of working on a construction site. The construction ended up doing in the knees and heels, but these pants help up for much longer then I expected them to. They don't feel very tough when you get them, but they take a massive amount of abuse.

"Mysteriously Great Pants" 04/02/11

This is my second pair of Arcteryx Spotter Pants I'm getting. My first one, I wore it through to the point you could see my boxers. The legs also were worn out so badly, they were pretty much shorts. That's how much I liked them. As long as the bird logo was visible I kept wearing them until I was cited by the cops for indecency, because they could see my ass hanging out. Now with these new pair, no more people staring at my ass and laughing. The pockets on the side of the legs, at first, seemed a bit oddly positioned, but if you are bouldering in these pants, they make sense. I put my brush and medical tape in those pockets. They aren't in the way.

"So friggin badass I had to buy a second pair" 03/17/11

Pants are tight aight? Very cool pants, hell I might even buy a third pair. I can work in them or just kick it, all while looking good. Do the pants dance.

"Nice Pants." 02/13/11

Nice looking pair of pants. Cut is relaxed, material feels nice as well as seems durable. I am happy with the purchase, might buy a second pair...Pricey, but if they hold up for a few years, worth it.

"Perfect fit" 12/12/10

These pants are great, the cut is perfect, and the articulated knees are not just a gimmick...I was lucky to have them fit perfectly....I wear 32-34 levis, and these in 34 are perfect...The get my full endorsement...I will be buying more.
