Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Axios 50 is the cat's PJs yo! My cat BB loves this pack and so do I. It's great price makes it competitive with all the usual suspects but this is Arcteryx! It oozes quality and it's meticulously designed! The materials are durable, mine still looks new. It is the perfect size and is my go to pack for any overnight or multi-day trip where I can't get away with using my Axios 35. What I like: The orange color, the comfortable shoulder straps and hip belt, the side hydration sleeve, the big kangaroo pouch in the front for a jacket or clothes, the lid with three pockets to stay organized, the little pockets on the sides for snacks, the compression straps, the daisy chains and the side zipper! And its superlight! Get it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great Arcteryx pack This pack is pretty similar to the Altra pack, but a bit smaller. Also, it does not have as many nifty features on it, like the adjustable shoulder straps. Nevertheless, it is an awesome pack with an entry level price. I think my favorite part of this pack is the mesh back which raises the pack off your back so that your back doesn't get all sweaty on those multi-day treks. I will be taking this to Kilimanjaro soon and I can't be more excited! I do wish that the bottom of the had a zipper so that you don't have to take all your stuff out to get to the stuff on the bottom of the bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great light weight pack. I was tired of lugging around a huge heavy 6000cu pack for quick overnighters so I bought this as a light weekend pack for 1-3 nights, and it is perfectly suited for that purpose. It's light on features, but also very light on weight which was a trade I was more than willing to make. I just took it through a overgrown trail and it performed admirably against snags and briers, it's tough and built well. I'm a smaller guy, and the pack fits me perfectly and stayed very comfortable for two days of hiking. I would highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ugly little brother I bought this pack after buying the Bora 95, which I love. Unlikely the Bora, the Axios comes up short on a few fronts: no gear loops etc. come to mind (while you can add them after market, the daisy chain on the bag seems lightweight and flimsy and is hard to work with). Despite the small things, its still a good pack, providing good bang for the buck (great on comfort, durability, weight, etc.).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One Hell ova Pack This bag is my baby with an Incredible bang for the buck. I bought it from Moosejaw 8+ months ago and have made use of it almost every weekend including a week long backpacking trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. After that trip, I immediately bought the woman's version for my girlfriend. I really love having the water bladder on the side because I find it was easier to load/unload and kept my water cooler for longer because it wasn't right on my back. Needless to say I've had my share of "oh that's convenient" moments on the trail with this pack with all of its loops, grips, and pockets. It's comfortable over long distances and great weather resistant material (especially the seals) makes it my favorite pack. Only downside I could see would be the size if you are going to do month long treks or if you tend to be a "Packer of Every Comfort". I tend to pack really light so it hasn't been a problem. Enjoy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from one of the best out there This pack is great. It fits perfectly and is so comfortable. I love the zipper on the side that lets you get into the main pocket. I can keep everything that i need and more in this pack. the organization is great in this with the 3 pockets in the lid and the large kangaroo pocket in the front. This pack is worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Arcteryx Men's Axios 50 Backpack There is very little structure to the pack and it works best with lightweight stuff and fully packed. It folds up tightly and works great as summit pack or to carry as an extra pack to separate gear while going for water etc. Like all Arcteryx gear it is extremely well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good midsize pack Very nice midsize pack. I'm 6'4 and the size 'tall' is just fine for me. Very light-weight.
