used for prospecting (yes, imma red neck type) and weekend trips.limited use because of life eventspros - fits really well and solidly. it doesn't have the flimsy feel of the lightweight back packs. neither does it flop around like i am used to. the size is just right for the amount of gear i carry. max time on the trail for me will be 2 nights. minimalist might do better with the 45L. have yet to use in the summer heat.cons so far - the side pockets are hard to use. they need a bit more bagginess and maybe a draw cord for security. don't laugh at me! i can't find anything else to really complain about. a couple of OR water bottle totes will be handy.
