I got these thinking they would be the perfect solution for boating, canoeing and any wet activities I might get in to. I'm not really a big sandal guy, I don't like the vulnerability of leaving my feet and toes exposed even in the water. These were the first thing I had seen like them, almost reminiscent of the old aqua socks but with much more support. The concept is great, the fit is great and I found them to be incredibly comfortable and nimble. The only thing I didn't consider until I got them out of the store was how they would feel when wet. There are two things that I really don't like:1) The mesh used on the inner sole is incredibly uncomfortable when wet, made me blister almost immediately. The mesh lining also ripped during the first use (which Adidas replaced at no cost)2) The drainage ports on the sole are too large, and if you step on anything like jagged rocks it will punch right through the mesh filter. New version fixed this I believe.
