Timberland Boots, Shoes and Clothing
Not to be confused with Timbaland the rapper, though equally as awesome, Timberland the brand is a classic. I'm talking classic like the movie Grease…or like Tom Selleck's mustache. I don't think Tom Selleck hails from New Hampshire like the Timberland company, but that would be an awesome coincidence if he did. Most people are familiar with Timberland boots. But I bet most people don't know that the founders of the brand - the Schwartz fam- pioneered the injection-molding technology that completely blew the minds of the footwear industry. I like to think of those folks as the Thomas Edison's of boot-making. He's totes my fav inventor.
This super duper technology offered a new way to connect the leather uppers of boots to their soles, which made them extremely waterproof and wearable. You'll find this classic technology on men's Timberland, women's Timberland, and even kid's Timberland. I just said Timberland a lot. Those trendsetters soon parlayed that technology into a line of boat shoes, hiking boots, and sandals. Today, you can still find Timberland constantly improving their products to deliver the famously rugged and comfy outdoor gear that they're known and loved for. I'm talking like a forever and always kind of love. Maybe even on the same level as my love for squirrels.
Not only do they make some seriously durable gear, it's seriously fashionable too. So let's recap: Timberland = durable, fashionable, and comfortable. They're a go-to choice for traveling, hiking, mountaineering, or keepin' it cas. That's slang for casual. I know because I looked it up. Timberland shoes even feature Gore-Tex insulated comfort footwear technology. This means that your feet's new best friends are built to last and easy to take care of. Easy as pie…or cake. I like cake better.
