North Face Venture"
It's practically a windbreaker/raincoat... It's not a jacket at all that can keep you warm. If you have a lot of layers on you then it should be okay to use this just for ra…

A good packable layer for when it`s wet outside. A functional layer for wind and rain resistance but not recommended for temperatures below 60 without a layer underneath.…

I found this jacket to be vastly superior to any other rain jacket for a number of reasons. The hood will tighten around your face and prevent your hair from getting wet. I li…

These are great rain pants but not sure if you'd want to wear them for other activities. They are very thin with absolutely no insulation. They say they're breathable but I'm…

Pretty simple, keeps the rain out. At 5'10" and 215 lbs, a large fits perfectly with enough room for a compressible layer underneath. Pit zip vents are an added bonus for thos…

All and all this is a good entry level jacket, but do keep in mind that it is sized for the masses (boxy, wide). Also the length could stand to extended an inch or two.

This jacket is extremely light (think piece of paper) but it is sturdy and definitely holds up to the rain. I have to say the hood does a come a little far forward which can o…

North Face Venture
The North Face Venture is actually a whole set of waterproof jackets and pants. Waterproof things are amazingly handy. I have a waterproof radio in my shower which always makes shampooing more fun. North Face Venture includes waterproof jackets and waterproof pants for men and women.
The North Face makes Venture jackets and parkas for women as well as two types of waterproof pants. The only real difference between The North Face Venture Jacket and The North Face Venture Parka is that the parka is longer. That sounds like it's not a big difference at all, but when you are stuck in a rain storm and everything around you is soggy and you are lucky enough to have a jacket that comes a few inches past the top of your pants so there's no seepage, you will thank me.
The North Face Venture Pants are great waterproof pants that have the flexibility to go from mountain summit to camping out in a ticket line for that once-in-a-lifetime show. They also offer Venture pants with side zips. This amazing little detail relieves a lot of hassle. By adding a full, seam sealed zipper down the sides of the pants The North Face has now allowed people everywhere to take their pants off without removing their boots.
Men, fortunately, are offered all of the same great North Face Venture styles as women are. Waterproof jackets, parkas and pants for all occasions. The Men's North Face Venture Jacket is perfect for braving tropical storms or just splashing through some puddles in your new goulashes. The waterproof pants can be worn as an outer layer while skiing or as protection in a tropical storm.
