So, if you like it when people like you, listen up, because I'm going to tell you about North Face Fleece, and you'll be one step closer to super-stardom. No matter what the outdoor conditions are like, there's a weight of fleece to keep you comfortable. Take TKA Fleece, for example. First, TKA stands for Thermal Kinetic Advancement Fleece, which is as awesome and smart as it sounds. TKA fleece fabrics are proprietary fabrics for the North Face, are offered in three different weights. TKA 100 Fleece is the lightest weight, provides warmth next to the skin or in a layering system, and offers warmth even when wet. TKA 200 Fleece is a midweight fleece ideally suited to function as a mid-layer. TKA 300 Fleece is a medium to heavyweight fleece that can be worn as a layering piece, or by itself as a jacket. Now that you know about TKA, check out North Face Polartec Fleece Jackets. The North Face uses Polartec Thermal Fabrics in many of their popular fleece jackets, like the North Face Pumori Jacket and the Denali Jacket. Polartec Classic Fleece is offered in three weights: Polartec 100, Polartec 200, and Polartec 300. Polartec 100 is the lightest, then Polartec 200, then Polartec 300 is a heavyweight thermal fleece. There's also Polartec Thermal Pro Fleece Fabric, which is the most technically advanced of the Polartec insulation fabrics. The Denali Jacket features super soft and durable recycled Polartec 300 series fleece construction with DWR. DWR means Durable Water Repellant, which wards off the moisture during construction of really awesome snow forts. The North Face Denali Jacket is zip-in compatible with other North Face outerwear, so you can use it as insulation in a super-jacket.
