The North Face debuted the Denali Jacket in 1989, bringing the warmth and comfort of Polartec Fleece to the world. The North Face is constantly advancing existing technology and creating new technology in their gear, clothing, and jackets, so every new or redesigned Denali from The North Face is an improvement on the last. That means more wind-resistant, water-resistant, and moisture-wicking fabrics go into each new North Face Denali Jacket. The newly redesigned North Face Denali features recycled Polartec Classic 300 fleece, which is made from 90 percent post-industrial waste and 10 percent post-consumer waste. In fact, the entire jacket has been updated with 100% bluesign approved fabrics - a standard for environmentally-friendly production methods. Each jacket saves the equivalent of .83 gallons of gas and 33 pounds of carbon dioxide versus the carbon footprint of a non-recycled fleece jacket. That's going to help preserve the forests you hike, the mountains you climb, and the air you breathe while doing those things: how superb is that? The North Face made sure to keep all the features you love about the Denali jacket. The abrasion-resistant nylon fabric overlays at the shoulders, chest, and elbows increase durability on the areas that take the most abuse. The zippered Napoleon chest pocket on the Denali fleece is quite possibly the best place to stash love notes, keeping them secure, easily accessible, and close to your heart. |
