About Family Camping and Base Camp Tents:
Family tents aren’t just for accommodating the traditional nuclear 2-and-a-half-kids-and-a-dog-named-spot family. They are also excellent Base camp tents so you can spend some quality time with your kindred adventuring spirits.
My favorite thing about family tents is that their increased size makes it possible for really interesting engineering to create eye catching designs. There are tents with multiple rooms, doggie doors, interior lighting systems, full sized grand pianos, you name it. (OK maybe not a grand piano, but at least a workable upright. A family tent is the perfect fusion of outdoor shelter technology and the amenities of home.
And the best part about having a family tent? I can fit so many people in here! That’s right, I’ve been writing this description from inside a tent. At first the space was a little empty, I could even hear a slight echo. After a few minutes though one of my co workers stopped by to see what I was doing in such an awesome tent. Now she’s in here and won’t stop talking about starting a family with me because she loves a guy who has his own place. Someday we might even move the tent out of the center of the office.
