Roof Racks | Car Racks | Luggage Racks
About Car Roof Racks and Luggage Carriers:
|It's not uncommon for a man to strap the things he loves to the roof of his car. Take me for example. There's probably nothing more that I love more than my kayaks. That's why I only bought the best roof rack I could find to transport that sucker. I can quickly strap the boats to the top of my vehicle and head on out to the lake. |
If there's anything I love more than my kayaks, it's got to be my bikes. "But weird guy narrating this story, how do you transport both your kayaks and your bikes?" Great question. Here's how. I take my two kayaks and strap them to the racks that I have on the roof of my car. My bikes are transported by attaching them to the hitch mount that I have mounted on the back of the car. On really long trips, I'm even able to strap up some luggage in between the kayaks, right there in the roof rack. When you see me driving down the road, the sight is simply what the kids say now-a-days, "Beast Mode."
Speaking of strapping the things you love to the roof of your car, remember in Family Vacation when Clark straps Aunt Edna to the roof of the car? Yeah, he used a roof rack to do that. I'm not sure what brand it was, but I'm sure it was from the best carrier he could find. I mean, the Griswold's had that poor old lady tied up on that roof better than any kayak I've ever passed on the highway. I heard the movie was based on a true story. I sure hope not.
