I’ve decided when I’m older I’m going to live vicariously through my children, so my kids are going to be the best cyclists in the world. Because I didn’t learn how to ride a bicycle until I was 18, my kids will learn how to ride a bicycle when they’re 18 months. Well, that’s probably not going to happen, but I am going to teach them to ride a bicycle early on in life because learning to ride a bicycle at 18 is just sad.
If you’re like me and want your little munchkins to get an easy first grasp at riding a bike, you should check out getting a bike tagalong. Bike tagalongs are bicycle attachments with a small kids seat and wheel so they can learn the basics of balance and turning, while still
safely connected to your adult bike; it’s actually a real innovation in kids cycling. Not only would using a trail-a-bike make your child more confident on riding a bike solo on their own, but they’ll be more experienced. Remember how many times you fell trying to learn how to ride a bike? I might be biased because the experience was not that long ago.
Anyway, Moosejaw carries safe and secure trail-a-bikes for your kids to ride along with the big dogs. The big dogs being you that is, not actual big dogs. Someone brought in a big dog to the office today and I’m slightly terrified.
