This jacket is really warm. Much more insulated that this type of jackets on average. At the same time it's incredibly light. The fit is true to size. Length at the back is st…

Bought this for my dad's birthday, the gray color is cute and love the red zipper pull detail. It is expedition fit so it's roomy enough for layers. Shipping is fast too!…

Last year I was looking for a jacket that I could wear all of the time (late fall, winter & early spring on the W.side of MI in the "snow zone"). I shopped around and decided…

Another great Arcteryx jacket! It's a bit bulkier than their hard shell jackets. But it's a very cozy & comfy jacket. I have yet to find any Arcteryx product I don't just love…

So I brought this over the Fisson SV. I ended buying both to try out and to see which one would be a better fit for me. I wanted something warm and waterproof for the Northeas…

Most people have commented on this jacket as far as warmth and packability etc...so wanted to concentrate on fit/sizing because it was the main issue for me. I originally want…

So many things are so awesomely, amazingly rad about the ArcTeryx Fission, I hardly know where to begin. I'm doing this for you, you know: pulling myself together. I think I'll be alright. Anyway, the Fission is an insulated, waterproof mountain jacket from ArcTeryx. You probably already knew that much, though, so I'll break it down for you:
ArcTeryx Fission SV Jacket - This is it. The mean big brother of all ArcTeryx jackets. I have a mean big brother, too, so I totally know how the other ArcTeryx jackets feel. The Fission SV is ArcTeryx's warmest, fully insulated, waterproof all-mountain jacket. That's skiing, climbing, whatever, the Fission SV has it covered like what. GORE-TEX Pro Shell construction and non-quilted Primaloft Sport Insulation make the Fission SV the ultimate storm fortress. It doesn't have a moat, though.
ArcTeryx Fission SL - The Fission SL is the lightest weight insulated, fully waterproof jacket. ArcTeryx paired GORE-TEX Pro Shell construction with their exclusive laminated ThermaTek™ non-quilted insulation to create the lightest weight hydrophobic jacket around. The ArcTeryx Fission SL Jacket is all business and features: check out its pit zips, helmet compatible storm hood, articulated elbows, and way more features that I don't really feel like typing.
ArcTeryx Fission AR - The Fission AR Jacket provides toasty warmth in the coldest of cold temps. Temps like "temperatures" not bon temps, but that's also true. Look who took French in college. Anyway, the ArcTeryx Fission AR Jacket features a fusion of laminated Primaloft and GORE-TEX Pro Shell 2L to keep you totally protected in almost any temperature. The helmet compatible stow hood hides away when you don't need it, while the drop hem and full seat coverage keep you comfortable in even the deep freeze.
Moosejaw carries the full line of bombproof ArcTeryx Fission Jackets. Check out the Men's ArcTeryx Fission AR or Men's Fission SV, the Women's ArcTeryx Fission SV Jacket, or the non-gender-specific ArcTeryx Fission SL.
