"This thing actually works" 04/08/11

Alright so call me skeptical about how this little piece of plastic could stop my awesome Yakima rack from howelling like an Irish banshee. But it actually works. I have two yak racks on this and put the WindJammer in the middle of the front crossbar and it works even on interstate speeds. I would definitely recommend this product!

Quiets things nicely. Just wish they were wider so I didn't have to buy two. Before these my rack howled like a bitch. Now, not so much!

"Buy it Fool!" 10/30/07

Bought two and used both on my Yakima rack for my Grand Cherokee Jeep. Works great and eliminates about 90 percent of the noise.

"May be necessary to prevent your significant other from becoming ax murderer" 05/28/07

I have a powderhound ski rack. Little did I know that when I mounted the rack on my Yakima bars, it would make a noise like a screaming banshee when I drove over 60 mph. Those are rare occasions, mind you. Anyway, the noise was so bad, my poor fiancee had to ride in the car with her fingers in her ears. This little airfoil is the perfect foil for the screeching pun intended. It reduces it to a moderate level. One caution It won't work with a typical yakima fairing.
