The Yakima Sparetime Two-Bike Rack is an awesome solution for travelling with a pair of bikes if you have a spare tire on the rear of your vehicle. This Yakima rack attaches directly to your spare tire's mounting bolts for a secure, snug fit, allowing you peace of mind while traveling down the road. A great Yakima bike rack for bringing your pretty and her bike with you to the trails so you can make her chase you into the mountains, or ride behind her and enjoy the view.

"Great!"  02/01/12

Fits my '07 JK like a glove. Rides well with or without a bike. Also doesn't get in the way when I have to open the trunk to grab something. the bike and rack just go with it. No need to let down or remove the rack.

"Extra easy"  09/23/11

After getting tired of making the interior of my Wrangler dirty and scratched up, I decided that I needed to carry bikes on the outside of the Jeep. Fits the spare tire, easy load up and secure on highways.

"A must have for a small vehicle like a wrangler"  05/02/11

I hated taking the wheel off and cramming my bike behind my seat in the wrangler it was a total PIA. All the other spare tire carriers I tried could not fit my oversize 33" mud tire. The Yakima Spare time fits it great. It collapses when not in use and holds 2 bikes. It's very sturdy (weighs over 20lbs, made of metal not cheap plastic and is super sturdy. Locks to the vehicles spare so no worries about theft. Highly recommended! The best part is it fits large tires, the Thule spare tire rack doesn't even come close tho this. Well worth the money!

"Great product but wont fit cruiser bikes"  11/01/10

I have a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with 33" tires. The Spare is full size and i was concerned about a bike rack like this overcoming the large spare tire. This rack works extremely well and is super strong. I ended up returning the rack only because it could not hold 2 cruiser type bikes. The handlebars on the bikes were way too long and kept both bikes from sitting on the support bar like they're supposed to and the geopmetry of the bikes made it impossible to get the straps around the bikes. I have a road bike that fit securely on the rack so i know it was the shape/size of the cruiser bikes that kept it from working for my needs.
