"Great product but doesn't come with the lock & keys!" 03/14/12
The cable is awesome. It's really long and works great to lock up several bikes to my hitch bike rack on my SUV. The only downfall is that the cable doesn't come with the lock and keys included. The picture is a little deceiving because it shows the cable with the lock and key so you assume that they are included. But you actually have to purchase them separately.

So, I use this thing for a daily use to lock down a hi-lift jack on my truck. But, it comes in so handy to use wherever a regular style little lock can't be used. Surfboards, kayaks, bikes, whatever you can stick this thing around you can lock it up tight. Buy it.

I bought this cable to lock bike wheels on my Yakima Roof Rack. The ability to use a SKS locking core was my big motivation. Also, the fact that the cable is straight and not in a coiled shape, makes it much easier to use than my other bike cable locks. The adjustability of the lock location is also quite handy. Great product from Yakima. Great service from The Jaw.

Make sure to get the Yakima SKS locking cores, if you order this cable, one cable comes with them the other does not. I was not aware of this since it is shown in the picture, I contaced Moosejaw support to notify them, i had to order the locks seperate but Moosejaw sent me a free T-Shirt! This cable is Heavy Duty! and 9ft long is just perfect for me, the floating locking pin is also a great feature to double loop each end of the cable aound each frame of my bikes, should stand up to some stress its a nice locking cable, but a little high on the price

This is a great lockable cable. It uses the same key core as the rest of the Yakima rack so you only need one key. It is flexible so it goes through in and out of your bike frame including the wheels. The cable is also covered with protective soft plastic so it do not scratch or ding your nice bike. Get the 9 foot if you want to wrap front and rear wheel. This is my second one. Cheers.
