"STURDY, compact, easy to mount (the 2nd time)" 12/16/10
Fits my 2004 Accord EX. 25 minutes setup 1st time, 5 min. thereafter. Bikes go on and off in seconds. Arms pivot out of the way & all straps have clips to hold the extra. Trunk stays open by itself even with bikes (on level ground). Security cable is a nice feature but no match for bolt cutters.To avoid scuffing the paint, wash the car first and use pieces of 1/8" foam tool chest liner under the trunk pads. They grip like glue and keep it from shifting.Durable! An F-150 hit the rack's curved back at 15 mph (sans bikes--lucky!) $2500 damage to my car but the rack was undamaged--not even dented--and still works perfectly. Support arms still tight after 7 months and 1000 miles with 2 bikes.

Instructions are daunting at first, but after one try got the hang of it easily. The Quickback 3 is very well designed; looks cool and at the same time functional. My sedan has trunk spoiler, but Quickback worked around it beautifully. Drove around with 2 bikes, and the rack felt stable. The other family vehicle is a minivan, and the Quickback came with adapters so it could be used with vehicles with rear hatches. We chose this model because of that versatility. Very happy with this purchase.
