I have two vehichles with q towers and the clips work awesome. They don't wear the car down are chip/scratch the paint. I have had one set on my legacy for 7 years. and just installed another on my corolla. Thanks moosejaw

Yakima Q-clips for the Q-towers are absolutely perfect as long as you purchase the ones which are correct for your vehicle. I never have to worry about my bikes for my rack shifting or moving at all. Follow the installation instructions correctly and your rack will be stable at highway speeds with out problems or shifting.
I'm soooooo glad that Yakima decided to offer the pads to go with the Q-towers because otherwise, I was going to have to rent a welding rig to permanently mount the suckers to my car. Much better! Thank you baby jesus
