"makes this big rack GINORMOUS!!! (pun intended)" 04/18/12

This bolted right in to the Mega warrior rack and added all of 2 minutes to the assembly time. what it really added though is a rediculous amount of space and cargo carrying possiblities. This made my rack extend from the back of my vehicle (2008 Toyota 4Runner) all the way up past the sunroof and almost to the top of the windshield. It still allowed me to open my sunroof although when I do I see the bottom of my rack. It actually makes it pretty easy to get the covers off of my KC lights when I want to turn them on because they are directly above the sunroof now.

"A must have, do not order megawarior with out adding this on" 09/29/10

A must for larger vehicles. Makes the look correct on the vehicle plus give you alot more room than you think. Wish i would of read the other review prior to purchasing.

"Don't buy the basket without the extension, trust me!" 03/14/08

If you have a jeep/truck big enough and are willing to throw down the 300 plus for the mega warrior, then this extension should just be considered part of the cost of the basket. It is a very worth while 100. Looks and function considered, the basket is not complete without this. It fills out the roofline and takes the basket from looking like a tub on top of the jeep, to looking like a roof basket. Function wise, if you are putting an oversized spare in this, you better have the extension if you want to get anything else in there.
