"best for the money"  11/25/10

The stackers are easily the best for the money. they hold 4 kayaks without a problem and then fold down where they wont be seen when im not using them.

"Yakima stackers work just fine."  02/27/10

The yakima stacker is no frills and simple to use. its the best way to transport whitewater boats. The only real downfall to this product is that it does not fold down without wearing down your bars.

"buy the bigstack no the kayak stacker!"  04/16/08

bought this and ended up trading up for the bigstack at a local dealer, sorry moosejaw it was easier than the mail. three reasons to buy big stack instead of kayak stacker. 1 universal bracket 2 it folds down 3 you can lock it

"Good, but could be better"  04/15/08

Yakima's Arrow Stacker which they instituted around 1999 is pretty good. Unfortunately, the previous Loop Stacker was easier to use and was more reliable wouldn't slip, like straps sometimes slip out of the arrow groves. Nonetheless, the new Arrow Stacker is thiner and allows for more boat stacking than the Loop Stacker would, so that's a plus. Ideally, I'd like Yakima to go back to the Loop-style of stacker, but make it thinner than the prior version.

"The best ever"  07/11/07

Love the stacker! Super easy to use. I fit 2 sea yaks and 2 bikes with Yakima viper racks on a Honda CRV with no problem. I also fit 3 yaks, because I only have 3, but the instruction booklet says it will fit 4, and I agree, and will hopefully be able to test that one day...
