The Yakima Hullyrollers Boat Rollers enable you to slide your boat onto the roof, making loading easier than pie. And when you add mako saddles securing your boat is easier than pie, tarts, donuts, cupcakes, or pretty much any form of pastry.

"Excellent Product - great if you need to load your kayak alone" 09/27/12

I bought this product along with the Mako Areo Saddles to to replace the Yakima Bowdown kayak racks. I have a 12 foot, 65 lb kayak.Loading/unloading the kayak from the Bowdown was too difficult, even with two adults.The saddles and rollers are installed on top of a load warrior rack on my Tahoe. Once I got them tightened bown, they did not move.The system works great!. I just unlock the rollers, place the kayak on the rollers and slide it up onto the saddles. Really works well and I can do this alone. It is important to get the straps in place prior to loading the kayak.I drove using the system for 2 hours up to 65 mph and the kayak did not move.

"Excellent way to load a kayak by yourself" 07/25/12

I have been using a hully roller for over 10 years to load my 17' sea kayaks onto a variety of vehicles. I have almost always had to load by myself, so ease of loading has been my first consideration. Utilizing a home built set of stern wheels, I only had to lift the bow onto the hully rollers, then roll the boat up into the awaiting saddles on the front rack.

"Hully Rollers are better than expected. Makes Kayak loading simple." 06/20/11

It took a bit of setup to get the rollers aligned for each kayak. Now that we have them set, loading the kayaks are now simple. The rollers roll well and provide a secure option for transporting the kayaks. We did not have the rollers tightened correctly and the entire bracket rotated forward during the first loading, we realigned and they are now working properly. Rollers work well for both our wider recreational kayak and ocean touring one.

"Secure & Easy" 01/14/10

Got these after a set of the old style Hull Raisers failed on the highway in a bad thunderstorm. Kind of arse puckering when your yak is hanging down on the passengers side of your vehicle banging at 60mph in a torrential downpour on a multi-lane highway. Yakima was great, they warranteed it and offered to replace it with the new style Bowdown rack. There was no way my wife was going for another vertical style rack, so I opted for a set of Hull Rollers with a pair of Mako Saddles. Great setup if you don't need to carry multiple boats.

It all started in high school. I got my first set of Yakima roof racks for my surfboards and the love affair is still going after 21 years! Yes my Yakimas have even outlasted my marriage. They haven't ever left me broke , depressed or high and dry! So when I decided to make my purchase here at Moosejaw I knew I was in for a quality product! The service was great! Now only if I could find a woman who could treat me as good as the folks at Yakima and Moosejaw?

"Nice for the solo boater or if you have to carry lots of boats." 08/20/07

Nice if you have to load your boat by yourself or if you are loading a boat in the middle of the rack with other stuff on either side. For example, I used to sets of Hully Rollers with two sets of Makos and one set of Hullraisers to carry a total of three sea kayaks. Two people can easily just lift a kayak into place on the side of the car, but putting a kayak in the middle of the rack pretty much requires something like the Hully rollers. They're a bit of a pain to set up, so if you have to remove them from the rack or adjust them frequently, it's not so great. If you can leave them in place, or if you have to load the boat yourself, they're awesome!

"Buy it, love it, live it, use it." 07/06/07

I love these rollers. Very sturdy, and I like how you can lock the wheels from turning while travelling. Get them, you will like. Actually, I gonna love them long time. Me so lovey them.
